Solar panels utilize energy produced by the sun to generate electricity for your home.

Battery storage solutions can store energy generated from solar to power your home during grid outages and peak electricity hours.

Upgrade benefit

Solar panels offer a cost-effective, efficient way to reduce your monthly electricity bill and power your home with renewable energy.

Battery storage solutions allow you to store excess solar and grid energy to power your home during an outage.

SPAN benefit

SPAN Panel pairs with solar and battery storage solutions to provide homeowners with unmatched insights and intelligence into their solar production and battery storage levels, and can even assign energy usage priorities at the circuit level.

Rebates & Incentives

30% tax credit*⁺

*All homeowners may be eligible for the Residential Clean Energy credit, a 30% tax credit that can be used to reduce the cost of solar and standalone battery storage projects (with batteries over 3 kWh). The former Investment Tax Credit (ITC) has been increased from 26% to 30%.

SPAN Panel may be eligible for the Residential Clean Energy Credit when installed with solar and/or standalone battery storage.

Electrification & Home upgrades

SPAN sits at the center of the all-electric home, allowing you to make electrification upgrades that translate to increased comfort, enhanced energy efficiency, and a safer home environment for you and your family.

Heat pumps

Heat pumps use electricity and refrigeration technology to efficiently move heat from one location to another, effectively regulating temperatures throughout the home.

Upgrade benefit

Electric heat pumps are cleaner and more efficient than traditional heating and cooling systems, resulting in less time to reach desired temperatures. Replacing gas heating/cooling systems with electric heat pumps provides clear safety benefits, including removing potentially dangerous fumes and reducing risk of fire in the home.

Rebates & Incentives (combinable)

Up to $8,000*

*Available only to low-to-moderate income (LMI) homeowners and landlords—typically defined as making less than 80% of their area’s median income—as a result of the High-Efficiency Electric Home Rebate Act (HEEHRA).

**The new Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit may cover 30% of the costs of eligible home upgrades made during the year; $600 per upgrade, and $1,200 per year, with an exception to both the upgrade and annual caps if a heat pump for space heating is installed during the same year. Heat pump cap is $2,000, and annual cap that year becomes $2,600.
